For the current pre-launch phase, Ardennes Terroir is operated personally by:

When you join the Ardennes Terroir waitlist or contact us, we may collect:

- Your name, if you provide it
- Your email-marketing consent
- Messages or producer recommendations you send us
- The date and source of your subscription
- Tags used to organise the Ardennes Terroir waitlist
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, Shopify may automatically process limited technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- General location derived from your IP address
- Pages visited and interactions with the website
- Cookie and session information
- Information needed to maintain website security and performance
Ardennes Terroir does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or separate advertising-tracking tools. This policy will be updated before such tools are introduced.

- Add you to the Ardennes Terroir pre-launch waitlist
- Send the welcome email you requested
- Share producer discoveries, field notes and project updates
- Provide early information about the first Ardennes Discovery Box

We do not sell your personal information.

We rely on your consent to send Ardennes Terroir marketing emails and project updates. You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each marketing email or by contacting us.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal.

Emails are managed through Shopify and Shopify Messaging.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in an email. You may also request removal by emailing dylan@ardennesterroir.com.
Transactional or direct responses to messages may be handled separately from marketing consent.
6. Shopify
The website is hosted and operated using Shopify. Shopify processes certain personal information on our behalf to provide:
- Website hosting
- Customer and subscriber records
- Email-marketing consent records
- Marketing-email delivery
- Website security
- Basic store and website analytics
Shopify may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Such processing is subject to Shopify’s contractual and legal data-protection safeguards.

8. Sharing your information
We share personal information only when necessary with service providers that help operate Ardennes Terroir, including Shopify and its relevant infrastructure or email-delivery providers.

- If the operation of Ardennes Terroir is transferred to a registered business or another responsible operator
If the project is transferred to a business entity, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Waitlist and marketing-subscription information is retained while:
- You remain subscribed
- Ardennes Terroir is actively preparing or operating its services

If you unsubscribe, your marketing status will be updated. Limited information may be retained to respect your opt-out preference, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
Messages and enquiries may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain appropriate records.

- Ardennes Terroir begins selling products
