The Idea
The first vision for Ardennes Terroir takes shape.
BELGIAN ARDENNES — THE JOURNEY BEGINS
We’re setting out to meet the farmers, artisans and makers keeping the region’s food traditions alive. Follow the journey as we document their work and prepare the first Ardennes Discovery Box.
WHY WE'RE HERE
Beyond the forests and winding rivers lies another Ardennes, shaped by generations of farmers, beekeepers, cheesemakers and artisans.
Their knowledge lives in everyday rituals: tending hives, ageing cheese, preserving each harvest and passing skills from one generation to the next. Yet many of these people and traditions remain little known beyond the region.
Ardennes Terroir shares this living heritage through the stories, products and experiences that reveal the true character of the Belgian Ardennes.
One producer, one place and one discovery at a time.

MEET THE FOUNDER
For years, I’ve told stories through film and photography. The more I travelled, the more I was drawn to places that rarely seek the spotlight: quiet regions where traditions remain part of everyday life.
The Ardennes is one of those places.
I’m moving there to spend time with the farmers, artisans and makers behind its food culture, to listen, document their work and share it with people who value provenance, craftsmanship and a slower way of living.
This project begins with curiosity, grows through relationships and, I hope, becomes a lasting celebration of the Ardennes and the people who shape it.
